The City of Charleston, WV is soliciting quotes for the upfitting of two 2026 Chevrolet Express 2500 135" wheelbase vans to be used as prisoner transport vehicles for the Police Department. The work includes removal of rear windows and paneling for one vehicle, installation of prisoner transport inserts with three-cell configuration, transport HVAC add-on systems, emergency lighting with siren and PA system, camera systems, vehicle-specific dash consoles, wiring, and installation of a Fuelmaster fuel ring system.
