The Village of La Grange is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide comprehensive financial services support for its Finance Department. - Government Buyer: - Village of La Grange (Finance Department), Cook County, Illinois - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named for the consulting services - The Village's current ERP system is MSI Version 7.5 by Harris Local Government/Constellation Software Inc. (CSI) - Utility billing is managed through Impressa by inHANCE (also owned by CSI) - Products/Services Requested: - Financial services consulting, including: - Oversight of general ledger maintenance, fund accounting, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable - Budgeting, financial planning, and reporting - Payroll and benefits administration - Treasury and cash management - Debt management and financial advisory - Audit and compliance coordination - Capital project financial management - Procurement and purchasing oversight - Financial policy and internal controls development - Financial systems and technology implementation (ERP) - Consultant will serve as Finance Director, Budget Officer, Treasurer, and Comptroller - Minimum of two days per week onsite support required - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Experience with ERP/accounting software implementation - Strong internal controls and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations - Proposals must include detailed qualifications, staffing plans, references, and cost structures - Standard insurance and indemnification required - The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals
Description
The Village of La Grange is seeking a consultant to provide financial services to support its Finance Department. The scope includes oversight of general ledger maintenance, budgeting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, payroll, treasury management, debt management, audit coordination, capital project financial management, procurement, financial policy development, and financial systems implementation. The consultant will provide a combination of onsite and remote support, including serving as Finance Director. Proposals are due by May 8, 2026.
