The City of Grants Pass Public Works Department is requesting proposals for the supply and delivery of water meters to its Service Yard in Grants Pass, Oregon. - Government Buyer: - City of Grants Pass, Public Works Department, Water Distribution - Products Requested: - 700 units of 5/8 x 3/4” water meters - 60 units of 1” water meters - All meters must be street-side local sight-read, with register units in cubic feet, cast iron bottom, lead-free bronze alloy (NSF-61), and include a 10-year warranty on both meter and register - Serial number details must be provided upon delivery - OEMs and Vendors: - Zenner - Neptune - Badger - Sensus - Metron - Master Meter - Alternative brands will be considered if a physical sample is provided for approval prior to bid submission - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All meters must meet EPA, NSF, AWWA, and NTEP standards - Field testing will be conducted for alternative brands - Problem meters/registers must be replaced within 20 business days - Meters should be certified by the USC Foundation for Cross-Connection and Hydraulic Research (recommended, not required) - All meters must be delivered in a single shipment by the specified delivery date; no periodic purchase orders - Proposals must include shipping costs - Award will be based primarily on cost
