The Department of the Army is seeking information from qualified vendors for preventative maintenance and on-call repair services for automated vertical storage units at Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD), Pennsylvania. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, Army Materiel Command (AMC), Army Contracting Command (ACC), ACC-APG, Tobyhanna Division - OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers): - Kardex - Titan - Products/Systems Covered: - 42 Kardex Storage Systems (including models such as Kardex 8000, 12000T, 16000, 8000T, 3500, 6000, 6000A, 12000) - 12 Titan III units (including Kardex Titan III Automated Storage and Retrieval) - 11 Kardex Remstar Storage Systems - Additional units: XP250 and XP500 Shuttle VLM Storage/Retrieval Units, 120X-1311 Vertical Carousel File System, 125S-1611 Vertical Carousel Media Station - Key Requirements: - Preventative maintenance: biannual inspections, cleaning, oiling, adjustments, and installation of required parts - On-call, as-needed repairs with emergency response within 24-48 hours - Written status reports and invoicing per visit - Compliance with strict security, safety, environmental, and operational protocols (background checks, OPSEC training, adherence to TYAD and federal regulations) - Period of Performance: - One-year base period with four additional 12-month option years (potential total of five years) - Place of Performance: - Tobyhanna Army Depot, 11 Hap Arnold Blvd, Tobyhanna, PA 18466 - Notable Details: - This is a Request for Information (RFI) only; no solicitation or award at this stage - Both scheduled and emergency services are required for a diverse set of automated storage equipment - No specific part numbers for replacement parts are listed, but detailed equipment models and part numbers are provided for reference
