This opportunity seeks comprehensive catch basin cleaning and maintenance services for Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) and Sagamore Hill Radio Observatory in Massachusetts. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 66th Air Base Group Civil Engineering Squadron (66ABG/CEOS), AFLCMC/PZIB - Scope of Services: - Cleaning and maintenance of approximately 660 catch basins at Hanscom AFB (bi-annual) and 10 at Sagamore Hill Radio Observatory (annual) - Services include vacuum cleaning, high-pressure jet cleaning, pressure washing, jet cleaning of inlet/outlet pipes, and removal/disposal of debris - Sampling and analysis of solids for hazardous waste characterization and compliant disposal at approved off-base facilities - Daily reporting, quality assurance, and record-keeping of cleaned basins and deficiencies - Quantities: - 660 catch basins at Hanscom AFB (serviced twice per year) - 10 catch basins at Sagamore Hill Radio Observatory (serviced annually) - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must be located within 60 miles of Hanscom AFB Civil Engineering Headquarters - Compliance with all manufacturer equipment specifications, environmental, and safety regulations - Only designated officials may sign Bills of Lading and Hazardous Waste Manifests - Environmental Department oversight for sampling, analysis, and disposal - Small business set-aside under NAICS 562998 - Period of Performance: - Base year plus four option years (total of five years) - Locations: - Hanscom Air Force Base, MA - Sagamore Hill Radio Observatory, Hamilton, MA

Description

66ABG/CEOS is requesting services for Catch Basin Maintenance on both Hanscom AFB and Sagamore Hill Radio Observatory.  The prime contractor’s geographical proximity to the Civil Engineering Headquarters located on HAFB shall be within 60 miles. The contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all services and parts provided under this contract are in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined herein and conform to the manufacturer’s equipment specifications and this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Environmental Department shall receive notification of the start of the work with tentative schedules to facilitate oversight of sampling, analysis and final disposal. Bills of Lading and Hazardous Waste Manifests may only be signed by a designated official from 66 ABG/CEIE.  HAFB has 660 catch basins and Sagamore Hill has 10 catch basins.
