This opportunity from the New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) seeks a qualified vendor for a five-year, statewide contract to provide Outside Plant (OSP) cabling repair and maintenance services for over 50 Executive Agencies. - Government Buyer: - New York State Office of Information Technology Services (ITS) - Products and Services Requested: - Repair and replacement of fiber optic cables (12, 24, 96, 144, 288 strand counts) - Repair and replacement of copper cables (25, 50, 100, 600, 1800 pair counts) - Supply and installation of manholes, handholes, pull boxes, covers, and conduit (1 1/4 in, 2 in, 4 in) - Utility poles (40 ft wooden) - Restoration materials (hay, grass seed, top soil, cement, blacktop, stone) - OSP cabling repair and maintenance services (immediate response, diagnostics, troubleshooting, restoration) - Excavation, aerial, restoration, and traffic management services - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Statewide, on-demand coverage for all NYS Executive Agencies - Compliance with industry standards (ICEA, NFPA, TIA, BICSI, IEEE, NEMA, UL) - MWBE participation goals (15% MBE, 15% WBE) - Minimum experience and qualification requirements, including U-Dig NY experience and references - Pricing structured by region, capped material markups, annual CPI-based adjustments - Strict adherence to NYS laws and regulations - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All work must be performed at NYS Executive Agency locations statewide

Description

This solicitation is for a five-year contract to provide outside plant fiber and copper cabling repair and maintenance services for over 50 New York State Executive Agencies statewide. The contractor will be responsible for immediate response to emergent or on-demand repair requests, diagnostic analysis, and restoration or replacement of defective fiber optic and copper cable segments. The work includes expertise in troubleshooting cable connectivity failures and supporting critical repair requests beyond existing statewide contracts. The contract requires compliance with specified industry standards and includes goals for minority and women-owned business participation.
