The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), part of the Department of the Navy, is seeking sources for a complete Gamble III De-Ionized Water System to be installed at its Washington, DC facility. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Department of the Navy - Contracting office at 4555 Overlook Ave SW, Washington, DC 20375 - Products/Systems Requested: - Gamble III De-Ionized Water System (1 complete system) - Includes pretreatment filtration, reverse osmosis, electronic deionization, storage tanks, transfer pumps, oil and particulate filtration, UV-C sterilization, and advanced PLC controls with Ignition software integration - Main 10,000-gallon storage tank and three 275-300 gallon IBC totes - Two 300 GPM variable frequency drive transfer pumps (one each in Rooms 152 and 153) - Water quality instrumentation (sensors for TOC, resistivity, particulate count, dissolved gas, pressure, flow, and level) - Control system with mirrored operator interfaces in two rooms - Installation and commissioning services for the system at NRL Building 256 Rooms 152 and 153 - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must deliver >18-MOhm-cm resistivity water at 7 gpm - Automated operation with advanced PLC and Ignition software integration - Oil filtration system with ≥90% single-pass removal efficiency - Installation and commissioning to occur 12-36 months post-award, with a 1-year warranty - Delivery of main hardware expected 12-18 months after award - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the government is seeking information on capable sources - Place of performance: NRL Building 256, Rooms 152 and 153, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC

OBJECTIVE:

The intent of this RFI is to gauge industry interest and search for potential sources capable of fulfilling a requirement for a Gamble III (GIII) De-Ionized Water System. The minimum requirements and specifications for the are in the attached document titled Attachment 1- Gamble III De-Ionized Water System. The Government is currently in the planning stages for this procurement and may continue to modify the language within the requirement as necessary. These requirements and specifications do not necessarily represent final requirements and specifications. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which will be considered by the agency. Responses are to follow the Contractor Response Format described below. No reimbursement will be issued for any cost connected with providing capability information.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Provide a description of how the proposed product will meet or exceed each of the specifications as it is anticipated that ultimate evaluation will be best values and a go/no go basis. Provide a product brochure and highlight the areas that meet or exceed specifications.
