Sole Source Procurement: KERMIT Mounting Plate for International Space Station

NASA is seeking a contractor to design, fabricate, certify, and deliver a custom mounting plate for the KERMIT microscope on the International Space Station (ISS). - The mounting plate will isolate the KERMIT Head Unit and Control Box from vibrations and fit into a Basic EXPRESS Rack. - Scope includes: - Design, fabrication, and flight certification of the mounting plate - Installation support - Delivery of concept of operations, safety data, verification products, and flight certification - Testing services: EMI/EMC, vibration, and off-gas testing at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) and White Sands Test Facility - Labeling and operations support at MSFC/HOSC - Hardware delivery is to Johnson Space Center, Webster, TX - The contract is expected to be sole sourced to TEC-MASTERS, INC, the only provider for this mounting plate - Period of performance runs through June 30, 2027, with key milestones including a Critical Design Review by January 1, 2027 - Procurement is under NAICS code 513210 (Software Publishers), following FAR Part 12 for commercial items
