The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking services to enhance FAALCAn, a web-based Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) tool for airport airfield infrastructure. - Government Buyer: - Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Transportation - Managed by FAA Acquisition & Grants (AAQ-600) at Atlantic City International Airport, NJ - Products/Services Requested: - Enhancement of the FAALCAn software tool, including: - Expansion of reporting capabilities to track domestic aggregate resource use and recycled material consumption with regional datasets - Integration with FAA's FAARFIELD (pavement design) and AIRCOST (cost analysis) software for seamless data exchange and real-time comparisons - Development of a domestic supply chain and energy source database to improve energy efficiency and resilience - Creation of Section 508 compliant training programs and maintenance of an up-to-date Help File for airport authorities and consultants - Deliverables include task plans, quarterly and annual reports, a final report, and the enhanced FAALCAn tool with source code - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Workshops and training sessions to be conducted in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Seattle - All training materials must be Section 508 compliant (accessible to people with disabilities) - Integration with existing FAA software tools (FAARFIELD and AIRCOST) - No specific OEMs, vendors, part numbers, or product quantities are identified in the solicitation or attachments
