Weapons Trailer Repair and Refurbishment for Naval Special Warfare Command

Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), under the Department of Defense, is seeking small business contractors to provide repair and refurbishment services for three weapons trailers. - Government Buyer: - Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), Basic Training Command (NSWCBTC), San Diego, CA - Contracting office located at 3632 Guadalcanal Road, Bldg 165, San Diego, CA 92155-5583 - Scope of Work: - Overhaul and repair of three weapons trailers - Includes pick-up and delivery, detachable taillight installation, surface preparation and Rhino Lining application, non-skid floor application, repair of leveling jacks and safety chains, wheel hub repairs, hitch rebuild, license plate holder relocation, tire and wheel replacement, electrical system diagnostics, and disposal of replaced materials - All three trailers must be repaired simultaneously - Work to be performed at contractor's facility within 30 miles of NSWBTC; pick-up and delivery at Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado, CA - Eligibility and Evaluation: - Set aside for small businesses under NAICS 336212 - Contractors must be registered in SAM and comply with FAR 52.219-14 (Limitations on Subcontracting) - Award based on Lowest-Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria, including past performance - Period of Performance: - Completion required by September 18, 2026 - Preferred repair windows: April-May, June-July, or August-September 2026 - No specific OEMs, trailer models, or part numbers are identified in the solicitation - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado, CA (delivery/pick-up) - NSWCEN BTC, 2446 Trident Way Bldg 638, San Diego, CA 92155-5494 (work location) - Naval Special Warfare Command, 3632 Guadalcanal Road, Bldg 165, San Diego, CA 92155-5583 (contracting office) - Unique Requirements: - Contractor facility must be within 30 miles of NSWBTC - Simultaneous repair of all three trailers - Compliance with Service Contract Act wage determinations and site visit opportunity provided

NOTICE OF SITE VISIT POSTED 14APRIL2026:  In order to facilitate submission of quotes, the Government is accommodating visits to inspect the trailers. If your firm is interested in a site visit please contact john.knizner@socom.mil no later than 20 April 2026 at noon Pacific Time.  

NOTE ONE: Visit requests must be received NO LATER THAN, MONDAY, 20 APRIL 2026, AT NOON PACIFIC TIME. Any requests received after this date/time will not receive a response and will not have an ability to participate in a site visit.  

NOTE TWO: Interested parties are reminded of the requirement to pick up and drop off trailers. The current location of trailers is in the San Diego Area. Additionally, offerors are reminded this requirement is a small business set-aside and is subject to the limitations on subcontracting in accordance with FAR 52.219-14. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REQUEST SUPPORTING INFORMATION CONFIRMING COMPLIANCE WITH FAR 52.219-14 PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF AN AWARD. Failure to comply with FAR 52.219-14 will result in your firm no longer being considered for award.

Repair/Refurbishment of three (3) trailers. Please see soliciation documents and addenda for full details. Firms must be registered under the System for Award Management and a small business under NAICS 336212 in order to be considered for award. Submission and selection criteria are located under the solcitation document and requirements are defined under Addenda 01.
