Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from market research questionnaire will be vital in the formation and set aside status of the solicitation.

The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Infectious Waste Disposal services for the Federal Medical Center Devens, located in Ayer, Massachusetts. The contractor will haul away an estimate 2,500 containers of Infectious Waste Disposal services per year in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The Government contemplates awarding of an indefinite-delivery, requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the future solicitation. The contract year shall consist of a 12 month base year with four 12 month option years for renewal.

Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested, nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Research Questionnaire will be distributed solely through General Services Administration's www.SAM.gov website. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site.

The response date for the market research questionnaire survey is Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. est. All responses to the Market Research Questionnaire may be submitted via email to CCoushaine@bop.gov. No collect calls will be accepted. No telephone requests or written requests for the market research questionnaire will be accepted.
