The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), through its Construction and Development Company (MTA C&D), is seeking a qualified Design-Builder to provide design-build services for a Track Intrusion Detection System (TIDS) prototype at two New York City Transit (NYCT) stations. This procurement will be conducted in two steps: a Request for Qualification (RFQ) followed by a Request for Proposal (RFP) for those qualified. The contract term is 730 calendar days, and the solicitation includes a virtual pre-bid conference. Vendors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) and have an MTA Bidder/Supplier number to participate.
