The U.S. Army is seeking a contractor to provide a comprehensive Dynamic Waterjet Cutting Head Upgrade for its Kaiserslautern Army Depot in Germany. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, Kaiserslautern Army Depot (TLSC-E&A / Maintenance Activity Kaiserslautern) - U.S. Army Contracting Command Europe and Africa, HQ Contracting Directorate - Products and Equipment Requested: - Dynamic Waterjet Cutting Head Assembly (1 unit) - Fully articulating head with active taper control and bevel cutting capability - Rated for 60,000 PSI, compatible with M200-series waterjet systems - Includes wrist assembly, spray/splash containment, high-pressure tubing, fasteners, and mounting hardware - Control and Programming Software Suite (1 unit) - Integrated CAD/CAM software for 2D/3D cutting path creation, import, and simulation - Supports dynamic head functions, automatic taper compensation, and bevel tool path calculation - Perpetual license for at least one user, downloadable installation - Services Required: - Complete installation and commissioning of all hardware and software - Comprehensive on-site operator and maintenance training (minimum 4 days, covering basic to advanced CAD/CAM operations) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All documentation must be bilingual (English and German) - 12-month warranty on all supplied equipment and software - Compliance with technical specifications and cybersecurity requirements - Prohibitions on certain foreign products per FAR/DFARS - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Kaiserslautern Army Depot, Ludwigshafener Strasse 31, Bldg 2233, 67657 Kaiserslautern, Germany - W463 Theater Logistics Support Center, Daenner Kaserne, Mannheimer Strasse 209, Bldg 3101, 67657 Kaiserslautern, Germany

Description

The contractor shall furnish and deliver all equipment, components, software, and materials required for the Dynamic Waterjet Cutting Head Upgrade, as detailed in Attachment 1 – Salient Characteristics. The contractor shall also provide installation and operator training to ensure full integration with the Government’s existing waterjet system. Quoters are required pay special attention with the instructions in FAR 52.212‑1 and FAR 52.212‑2 as stated in the solicitation document.
