The Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) is seeking proposals for comprehensive armed and unarmed security services across multiple district facilities in Riverside, Imperial, and surrounding counties in California. - Government Buyer: - Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD), Finance Department - Procurement Division - Scope of Services: - 24/7 armed security at the Quagga Mussel Chlorination Facility - Unarmed guardhouse services at Coachella and Palm Desert locations (40 hours/week, weekdays) - Armed patrols at office complexes, water reclamation plants (WRP #4 and #7), wellsites (3405, 4610, 6808, 7991), and the Whitewater Replenishment (Bridge Haven) site - Fixed-post staffing, mobile patrols, access control, incident reporting, and as-needed security services (up to $100,000 annual allowance) - Holiday pay line items for armed services at all major sites - Products/Services Requested (Sample Quantities): - Unarmed Security Services at Coachella Guardhouse: 2,000 hours - Unarmed Security Services at Palm Desert Guardhouse: 2,000 hours - Armed Security Services at Quagga Facility: 8,568 hours - Armed Security Services at Bridge Haven Assignment: 2,160 hours - Armed Security Patrols at multiple sites: 357 patrols per site, per year - Holiday pay for armed services at all major sites - As-needed security services (task order basis, up to $100,000/year) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Minimum five years in business and relevant experience - Required California security licenses (Private Patrol Operators License, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services License, Armed Guard Card for armed services) - Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations - Detailed daily activity and incident reporting - Services must cover holidays and provide for both fixed and mobile security needs - No specific OEMs or product vendors are named, as this is a services contract - Multiple federal and district facilities are included as places of performance
