The University of Waterloo is seeking proposals for the supply of security products and locksmithing services to support campus operations. - Government Buyer: - University of Waterloo, Plant Operations Department - Products and Services Requested: - Security products including: - Door hardware (locks, levers, locksets, cylinders, key blanks, panic bars, hinges, closers, electric strikes, door openers) - Locksmithing services (installation and maintenance of security products) - All items and services will be ordered on an as-needed basis - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Only the Plant Operations Department is authorized to order under this contract - The University will select a single provider that meets all RFP requirements - Contract term is three years with two optional two-year extensions - Place of Performance: - University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Description

The University of Waterloo is soliciting proposals for the supply of security products including door hardware such as locks, levers, locksets, cylinders, key blanks, panic bars, hinges, closers, electric strikes, door openers, and locksmithing services. These products and services will be ordered on an as-needed basis by the Plant Operations Department. The contract term is from June 1, 2026, to July 1, 2029, with an option to extend for two additional two-year terms. The University intends to select one respondent that meets the requirements outlined in the RFP.
