Ontario Health is seeking a Clinical Lead for Sickle Cell Disease to advance quality improvement initiatives across Ontario: - Government Buyer: - Ontario Health, an agency of the Government of Ontario - Service Requested: - Clinical Lead, Sickle Cell Disease - Strategic leadership to standardize SCD care across clinics - Implementation of Sickle Cell Disease quality standards - Collaboration with Provincial Equity Office, Clinical and Quality Standards teams, and regional teams - Monitoring progress, engaging clinicians, fostering innovation, and advancing equitable, patient-centered care - 0.2 FTE commitment (one day per week) - Requires registration to practice in Ontario and significant leadership experience in quality improvement and hematology - Unique Requirements: - Open only to registered healthcare professionals in Ontario with expertise in sickle cell disease and quality improvement - Focus on provincial standardization and equity in care - No OEMs or commercial vendors are involved; this is a service opportunity for an individual clinical leader - Period of Performance: - One-year term with an optional one-year extension
