The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking bids for two (2) complete ~14-foot Jon boat packages for use in patrolling state waters. - Government Buyer: - Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) - Contact: Sheri Karpenko, State Program Administrator, Principle - OEMs and Vendors: - Crestliner (boats) - BeaverTail (motors) - Vanguard Marine (motors) - Alternative makes/models may be proposed if they meet DNR's quality, style, and performance requirements - Products/Services Requested: - Two (2) new 2026 or newer Crestliner 1448M CR Jon boats (or DNR-approved comparable) - Two (2) newest model year BeaverTail 23HP Vanguard Marine EFI Longtail motors (or DNR-approved comparable) - Two (2) new 2026 or newer galvanized roller trailers, sized and adjusted to fit the boats and motors - Each package includes detailed specifications: approx. 14 ft length, 70 in beam, 15 in transom height, tiller steering, Olive Drab or Marsh Tan color, 310 lbs weight, max 831 lbs capacity, max 25HP, standard vinyl floor, oar locks - Motors require 3-star CARB rating, power trim/tilt, electric start, marine battery, installed and spare propeller, 6-gallon portable fuel tank - Trailers must meet MN and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, include spare tire, waterproof LED lighting, and certification label - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Bidders may propose alternative brands/models with supporting documentation for evaluation - Delivery required to DNR MR R2 NE Region, 1201 E Hwy 2, Grand Rapids, MN 55744-3244 - Compliance with Minnesota state procurement rules and diversity/inclusion initiatives - Proof of authorized dealer status required if not the OEM - OEM standard warranties, training materials, and sales literature must be provided - No electronic/email responses accepted; sealed bids only via Minnesota Supplier Portal

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for two (2) approximately 14-foot Jon boat packages. Each package includes a new 2026 or newer Crestliner 1448M CR Jon boat or DNR approved comparable, a newest model year Beaver Tail 23HP Vanguard Marine EFI Longtail Motor or approved comparable, and a new 2026 or newer galvanized roller trailer sized to fit the boat and motor. The boats will be used for patrolling Minnesota waters. Bidders must submit formal bids via the Supplier Portal by April 21, 2026, and provide detailed specifications and pricing for each item.
