This opportunity seeks Indian Economic Enterprises to supply pharmacy labels and related supplies for the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit in Lame Deer, Montana. - Government Buyer: - Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) - Indian Health Service (IHS), Billings Area - Northern Cheyenne Service Unit - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; products must be compatible with ScriptPro automation and preferably display the IHS logo. - Products/Services Requested: - Custom 2x4 prescription labels (5 kits; each kit contains 6 rolls of 1,250 labels) - Must be compatible with ScriptPro automation - Medication bags in four sizes: - 4lb (5 cases of 1,000 bags) - 6lb (5 cases of 2,000 bags) - 12lb (5 cases of 1,000 bags) - 20lb (5 cases of 500 bags) - Prefer bags with IHS logo - Tamper-resistant prescription pads (25 pads, 100 scripts per pad) - Must meet all state and federal regulations and include Service Units information - Padded poly mailers: - 6x10 (3 cases of 250) - 8.5x12 (5 cases of 100) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Preference for Indian Economic Enterprises under the Buy Indian Act - Vendors must submit the Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form - All products must meet technical specifications (referenced in attachments) - Prescription pads must comply with all state and federal regulations - Bags should preferably display the IHS logo - Period of Performance: - Base year plus four option years (total of 60 months) - Place of Performance: - Northern Cheyenne Service Unit, Lame Deer, Montana

Description

This is a Sources Sought notice. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. Pursuant to 48 CFR Part 326, Subpart 326.603-3 and IHM 5.5-6, Indian Health Service must use the negotiation authority of the Buy Indian Act, 25 U.S.C. 47, to give preference to Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) whenever the use of that authority is authorized and practicable. The Government is seeking to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs), Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) capable of performing the below Indian Health Services (IHS) requirement. Any vendor responding to this notice should submit their capability statement as well as the Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form (Attachment B). Instructions for submission are outlined below. Consistent with the revised Buy Indian Act, HHS/HIS adopted the definition of an Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) set forth in 48 CFR 1480.201. This definition includes the following requirement, amongst others: “the Indian or Indian Tribes must together, receive at least a majority of the earnings from the contract”.
