This opportunity seeks qualified firms to perform advanced corrosion and integrity surveys on critical underground pipelines at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Installation Contracting Division (AFTC/PZI) - Scope of Work: - Conduct two Close Interval and Direct Voltage Current Gradient (DCVG) surveys: - Approximately 19,938 linear feet of 161kV underground oil-filled electrical pipeline - Approximately 3,500 linear feet of underground fuel pipeline - Perform direct assessments per NACE SP0502, including excavations, testing, documentation, and repairs (with government approval) - Prepare and submit a comprehensive final report with engineering analysis, GPS coordinates of repairs, root cause analysis, recommendations, cost breakdown, integrity predictions, maintenance cycle recommendations, and as-built drawings - Install red fiberglass drivable markers every 200 feet along underground cables (excluding parking lots, roads, and driveways), labeled with "WARNING UG 161kV CABLE" - Technical Requirements: - All survey and assessment work must be performed by NACE/AMPP certified personnel - Compliance with NACE/AMPP standards and industry best practices is mandatory - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Unique Requirements: - Detailed engineering reporting and documentation - Installation of specialized cable markers - Contractor must obtain government approval before commencing repairs - Place of Performance: - Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee (primary location for all work and delivery)

The Air Force Test Center’s Installation Contracting Division (AFTC/PZI) at Arnold Air Force Base (AFB) located in Tennessee is seeking sources that are interested in and capable of meeting the Government’s requirement to conduct a survey of existing 161 kV cables at Arnold AFB, TN.

INTRODUCTION: The Government requires two Close Interval and Direct Voltage Current Gradient surveys to be conducted at Arnold AFB, TN. Scope includes approximately 19,938 linear feet of underground 161kV oil filled pipeline (system 1) and 3,500 linear feet of underground fuel pipeline (system 2). See Attachment 1 – Technical Requirements for additional details.
