NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is seeking to procure an M+P Vibration Controller system and associated components as a sole source acquisition from M+P INTERNATIONAL INC. - The procurement includes: - M+P Vibration Controller (VCbase-16CH) and multiple software license extensions for additional input channels - Control modules for various vibration test modes (e.g., Sine Sweep, Random, Shock, Roadload) - Hardware such as a rack workstation, 27-inch desktop monitor, Ethernet switch, and emergency stop button - Base modules, analog output/tacho input modules, and analog-to-digital converter modules - On-site calibration and 5 days of commissioning and user training at KSC - Quantities for each item range from 1 to 5 units - Delivery is required to Kennedy Space Center, with a period of performance of 60 days after receipt of order and a required delivery date by July 31, 2026 - The opportunity is open for capability statements, but NASA may proceed with the sole source if no suitable alternatives are identified - The procurement falls under NAICS code 541519 - M+P INTERNATIONAL INC. is identified as the sole OEM and provider for these requirements

Description

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for M+P Vibration Controller. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to M + P INTERNATIONAL INC. 155 Jefferson BLVD STE 100 Warwick, Rhode Island 02888-3852 United States under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). It has been determined that M + P INTERNATIONAL INC. is the sole provider of M+P Vibration Controller.

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort.  Performance will be located at NASA/ Kennedy Space Center (KSC).

The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 541519

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 04 p.m. Central Standard Time on 4/13/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
