The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is conducting market research for a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to supply Promega Maxwell RSC 48 DNA Extraction Systems and related services for its Human and Animal Food Laboratories. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - Office of Acquisition and Grant Services - Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science, Office of Regulatory Testing and Surveillance - OEM Highlight: - Promega Corporation (manufacturer of Maxwell RSC 48 DNA Extraction System) - Products Requested: - Promega Maxwell RSC 48 DNA Extraction System (part number: Promega Maxwell RSC 48) - Initial delivery: 7 units in base year - Option years: 1-2 units per year - Each system includes instrument, tablet PC with software, USB/power cables, deck trays, UV bulb, tablet holder, Quantus Fluorometer with accessories, quick start and set-up guides, and additional deck trays - Services Requested: - Installation by qualified field system engineer (within 14 days of delivery) - On-site training for up to three users per laboratory (within 14 days of delivery) - Minimum one-year warranty on all non-consumable items and parts, including unlimited telephone/email support - Notable Requirements: - Brand-name only (Promega Maxwell RSC 48); no substitutes accepted - New units only (no refurbished or used equipment) - Interest in GSA schedule availability and small business participation - Delivery Locations: - FDA Human and Animal Food Laboratories in Irvine, CA; Jefferson, AR; Atlanta, GA; Alameda, CA; Jamaica, NY; Denver, CO; Bothell, WA

This is a Sources Sought Notice only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS code [Insert Code] in support of market research.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Acquisition and Grant Services (OAGS), on behalf of the Office of Laboratory Operations and Applied Science (OLOAS), Office of Regulatory Testing and Surveillance (ORTS), is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing Maxwell RSC 48 DNA Extraction Systems over a five-year contract period.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service.
