Description

The Indian Health Service, Gallup Service Unit (GSU), located in Gallup Indian Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole source award with Redhawk Group International for collection and disposal of hazardous chemical waste services. In accordance with principles of RFO 12.102(a) Restricting Competition Contracting Officers may solicit from only one source if the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization).

This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any potential sources other than Redhawk Group International may submit a capability statement via electronic email by 10:00 AM MDT on April 17, 2026. Any other form of communication will not be considered. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competition or proceed with a single-source award.
