Description

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) plans to resurface the Richardson Highway from Milepost 15 to 18. The project includes vegetation clearing, ditching, signage and guardrail replacement, striping, and bridge maintenance to improve roadway performance and safety. Material sites will be available for contractor use, and construction is planned for 2027. Public comments on environmental and cultural resources are being solicited until May 7, 2026.
