Description
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve Ohio's attainment plan for the Canton Nonattainment Area regarding the 2008 Lead (Pb) National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). The EPA also proposes to determine that the Canton area has attained the 2008 Pb NAAQS and to approve Ohio's maintenance plan for continued attainment. This includes approval of Ohio's comprehensive Pb emissions inventory and the redesignation of the Canton area from nonattainment to attainment status under the Clean Air Act and EPA regulations.
