The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Drum, under the Department of the Army, is seeking Steel Grit, Grit Size 40, for delivery to McAlester Army Ammunition Depot (MCAAP) in Oklahoma. - Government Buyer: - Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Drum - Department of the Army - Product Requested: - Steel Grit, Grit Size 40 - Must meet SAE J1993 HCS G40H specification - Minimum hardness: 60 HRC - No more than 5% round or half-round particles - Shipped in 50 lb bags - No substitutions or variations allowed - Quantity and Delivery: - Three deliveries, each of 40,800 lbs (total 122,400 lbs) - Certification and Labeling Requirements: - Certificate of Analysis/Material Certification Report required with each shipment - Must include manufacturer name, product name/description, specification, lot/batch number, manufacture/expiration date, analytical data, statement of no change in materials or processes, and authorized signature - Packaging labels must include manufacturer name, product name/description, lot/batch number, and manufacture/expiration date - Approval of certification by MCAAP AO required before contract award - Delivery Location: - McAlester Army Ammunition Depot, Oklahoma - Notable Requirements: - Strict adherence to technical specifications - No deviations from product description accepted - Detailed certification and labeling mandatory - OEMs: - No specific OEMs named; any manufacturer meeting SAE J1993 HCS G40H may qualify

STEEL GRIT, GRIT SIZE 40, MUST BE SAE J1993 HCS G40H. HARDNESS MUST BE HCS G (1)H 60 HRC MINIMUM. PARTICLE SHAPE SHALL BE NO MORE THAN 5% ROUND OR HALF ROUND PARTICLES. NO VARIATIONS OF THE DESCRIPTION WILL BE CONSIDERED.CAN BE SHIPPED IN 50 LB BAGS.CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS / MATERIAL CERTIFICATION REPORT, WHICH INCLUDES STATEMENT THAT PRODUCT MEETS SAE SPECIFICATION J1993 IS REQUIRED.COC/COA MUST INCLUDE MANUFACTURER NAME, PRODUCT NAME/DESCRIPTION, SPECIFICATION, LOT/BATCH NUMBER, MANUFACTURE/EXPIRATION DATE, ANALYTICAL DATA, STATEMENT OF NO CHANGE IN MATERIALS OR PROCESSES, AND SIGNATURE OF AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE.PACKAGING LABELS WILL INCLUDE MANUFACTURER NAME, PRODUCT NAME/DESCRIPTION, LOT/BATCH NUMBER AND MANUFACTURE/EXPIRATION DATE.COC/COA APPROVAL BY MCAAP AO REQUIRED BEFORE CONTRACT AWARD.PREDICTED DELIVERY SCHEDULE AS FOLLOWS.
