Description

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) announces a public virtual meeting of the 34th General Advisory Committee (GAC) to the U.S. Section to the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission (IATTC) and the 19th Scientific Advisory Subcommittee (SAS) to the GAC. The meeting will be held via webinar on July 20-21, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. PDT each day. Topics include outcomes from recent IATTC working groups, stock assessments, evaluation of staff recommendations, potential proposals, and other issues related to tuna fisheries management in the eastern Pacific Ocean. Registration is required by July 6, 2026.
