Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to conduct a re-established computer matching program with the Department of Defense (DoD). This program will match DoD personnel records with VA records of benefit recipients under the Montgomery GI Bill programs to verify eligibility for education benefit payments. The matching program aims to ensure that Veterans, servicemembers, and reservists meet the conditions of military service and eligibility criteria for benefits. The program will be valid for 18 months with a possible 12-month renewal.
