Description
The National Park Service is extending the public comment period on a proposed rule aimed at improving guidance for unit managers and the public, and restoring opportunities for protected activities by reverting to Alaska-specific regulations that were in effect prior to 2015 amendments. This extension allows additional time for interested parties to comment on the proposed restoration of pre-2015 regulations and other modifications. Comments previously submitted will be fully considered and do not need to be resubmitted.
