The Stillwater Utilities Authority (SUA), part of the City of Stillwater, Oklahoma, is seeking qualified contractors for high voltage line clearance tree trimming and removal services to support its Electrical Distribution System. - Government Buyer: - Stillwater Utilities Authority (SUA), City of Stillwater, Oklahoma - Scope of Work: - High voltage line clearance tree trimming and tree removal - Chemical treatment of brush and undergrowth - Hauling and disposal of debris - Emergency tree clearing services as directed by SUA - Provision of two 3-person manual crews, two 3-person bucket crews, and one permit agent daily - Products/Services Requested: - Manual Crew 1 & 2: 2080 straight-time hours each per year - Bucket Crew 1 & 2: 2080 straight-time hours each per year - Permit Agent: 2080 straight-time hours per year - All necessary equipment, including bucket trucks, chippers, and vehicles - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must have at least two years of experience working near energized high voltage lines - All employees must hold ISA or TCIA approved Line Clearance Certification - Equipment must meet safety standards, including annual dielectric and structural testing for lift trucks - Compliance with safety, certification, insurance, and reporting requirements - Submission of affidavits (business relationship, non-collusion, firearms non-discrimination) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; opportunity is open to qualified tree service providers - Place of Performance: - Stillwater, Oklahoma (work performed within the city’s electrical distribution system) - Contract Term: - Initial one-year contract with two optional one-year extensions, subject to SUA Trustees' approval
