Navy Seeks Advanced Combat Weapon System Technology and Engineering Support

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), under the Department of the Navy, is seeking industry support for advanced combat weapon system technology and engineering services. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Integrated Combat Systems Department (V) - Scope of Services: - Technology and engineering support for Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Missile Defense Agency combat weapon systems - Services include: - Combat system engineering, certification, test and evaluation - System-of-systems analysis, mission/force analysis, and lifecycle engineering - Interoperability engineering and human systems integration - Safety engineering, including hazard analysis and compliance for Foreign Military Sales - Ballistic Missile Defense and AEGIS Weapon System support (including AEGIS Ashore) - Training development and delivery for naval and Marine Corps combat systems - Support for shipboard weapons systems, pointing and fire cutout analysis, and topside surveys - Labor Requirements: - Over 857,000 labor hours anticipated, including surge capacity - 17 key personnel positions required, including Program Manager, Lead Principal Systems Engineers, and Lead Senior Systems Engineers - Specialized expertise in Combat Systems Cyber Security, SSDS, CIAT, Aegis Integrated Combat Systems, and related naval systems - Security clearances up to TOP SECRET/SCI required - Contract Structure: - Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee Level of Effort Task Order - 12-month base period with four 12-month option years (up to 60 months total) - Unique Requirements: - Only SeaPort-NxG MAC IDIQ holders are eligible to bid - Travel to multiple U.S. and international locations is anticipated - Deliverables include technical reports, presentations, and participation in technical reviews - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Place of Performance: - Primary: NSWCDD, Dahlgren, VA - Additional: Various U.S. Navy and allied locations worldwide (including Pearl Harbor, Dam Neck, Norfolk, Patuxent River, Picatinny Arsenal, White Sands Missile Range, and international sites such as Japan, Australia, and Europe)
