The U.S. Embassy Pretoria is seeking a contractor for comprehensive security upgrades at its residential properties in Pretoria, South Africa. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Pretoria, Contracting Office - Scope of Work: - Security upgrade services for a minimum of 20 and up to 240 residences per year - Firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract - All labor, materials, installation, overhead, profit, and transportation included - Products and Installations Requested: - Expanded metal mesh for grill gates and safe haven areas - Security window grills, steel swing gates, and sliding steel swing gates - Three-lever thumb-turn locks, thumb-turn vertical dead bolt locks, and thumb-turn cylinders (ANSI grade or equivalent) - 35/45mm double hook locks for sliding gates/doors - Heavy duty sliding bolts, anti-lift bracket pins for vehicle gates - 30-minute fire-rated doors with security hardware - Escape hatches for windows with emergency release mechanisms - Pipe holes for specified doors - 50-watt LED lighting with day/night switches - Centurion D5 Smart Sliding Gate Motor - Commax Colour Intercom system (includes color monitors and gate station with camera) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All installations must comply with U.S. Embassy specifications and safety standards - Prohibition on use of certain telecommunications equipment - Detailed functional testing and alignment required for all security features - OEMs and Vendors: - Centurion (Centurion D5 Smart Sliding Gate Motor) - Commax (Colour Intercom system) - No other specific OEMs or vendors named; "Bird" lock referenced as equivalent - Place of Performance: - All work at U.S. Embassy Pretoria residential properties, Pretoria, South Africa

Description

The Contractor shall provide security upgrade services to all residential properties of the U.S. Embassy Pretoria, South Africa, in accordance with the specifications and clauses set forth herein. This is a firm fixed price IDIQ contract.  The prices shall include all labor, materials, overhead, profit, and transportation necessary to supply and install the required items to the American Embassy Pretoria, South Africa.
