The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance and repair services for all elevators, lifts, and conveyors at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 5 Contract Satellite Office - Contracting office located in Martinsburg, WV - Scope of Work: - Full-service preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and testing for all vertical transportation equipment (elevators, lifts, conveyors) at Washington DC VAMC - Contractor must provide one on-site certified elevator mechanic Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm - Emergency service technicians required as needed - Services must comply with ASME and NFPA codes and standards - Includes monthly reporting, condition assessments, and quality assurance surveillance - Products/Services Requested: - Full-service preventive maintenance (monthly rate) - Full-service repair (monthly rate) - Overtime and after-hours emergency repair (hourly rate) - Installation of exempt equipment (hourly rate) - Testing and certification support (hourly rate) - Quantities: - Multiple line items for each service, typically 12 months per year for preventive and repair services, and 32-48 hours per year for overtime and testing support - Unique Requirements: - Contractor personnel must be certified elevator technicians with minimum experience - Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are mentioned; open to qualified service providers - Place of Performance: - Washington DC VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street NW, Washington DC 20422
