The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking chemical analysis services for plant and soil samples to support the 2025 Manure Priming Project at the Conservation and Production Research Laboratory in Bushland, Texas. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) - Conservation and Production Research Laboratory, Bushland, TX - ARS Acquisition and Property Division, Beltsville, MD - OEMs and Vendors: - Servi-Tech Laboratories (Amarillo, TX) is proposed as the sole source laboratory for continuity with previous research - Products/Services Requested: - Chemical analysis of 256 dried, unground soil samples - Tests include: moisture content, pH, electrical conductivity, total Kjeldahl nitrogen, Mehlich 3 extractable elements, organic matter, Olsen extractable phosphorus, nitrate-nitrogen, ammonium-nitrogen, chloride, SL1B, NH4-N, TKN, ESCAR, and chlorine - Chemical analysis of 192 dried and ground plant samples - Tests include: moisture/dry matter, ash content, mineral analysis, chloride, crude protein, nitrate as N, acid detergent fiber (ADFA), neutral detergent fiber (NDFA), MICP, NO3N, and chlorine - Volume discounts for both soil and plant sample analyses - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Analyses must use the same laboratory and methods as previous studies for research continuity - Results must be reported separately for soil and plant samples within 30 days of sample receipt - Delivery is FOB destination - Set aside for small businesses, including economically disadvantaged women-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses - Firm-fixed price requirements contract, single award - Locations: - Place of performance: Conservation and Production Research Laboratory, 2300 Experiment Station Road, Bushland, TX 79012 - Contracting office and delivery location: USDA ARS Acquisition and Property Division, 5601 Sunnyside Avenue, Beltsville, MD 20705

The United States Department Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Plains Area, intends to award on a single source basis for chemical analysis for plant and soil samples.

Potential sources who believe they can provide the services listed are invited to submit a quotation by the response date listed, in accordance with the instructions provided herein.  All timely responses to this solicitation will be considered, however, the determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
