THIS IS NOT A SOLICIATION ANNOUNCEMENT. This is a SOURCES OF SOUGHT only. The purpose of the synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification relative to NAICS 335910 – Battery Manufacturing, a small business size standard of 750 employees. Responses to this synopsis will be utilized by the Government to determine the appropriate procurement methodology. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published to the general public on contract opportunities at https://sam.gov. Responses to this sources sought synopsis shall not be considered a response to a solicitation. All interested offerors will respond as an interested party to this sources sought.
THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
The New Hampshire Air National Guard requires a Forklift Battery (requirement). The Forklift Battery (requirement) will include the following CLINS:
CLIN 001: Lead Acid Motive Power Battery QTY: 1 EA
Salient Characteristics:
Volts: 80V
Capacity: 500 AH (minimum)
Dimensions: Shall not exceed 40”L x 27.5”W x 30.5”H
Connector: SB-style 320 amp connector
Watering System: Must be equipped with a single point watering system
Accessory: Must include a compatible watering gun/direct fill link
