The City of Laguna Niguel Public Works Department is seeking qualified contractors to provide maintenance and support services for municipal electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at multiple city locations. - Government Buyer: - City of Laguna Niguel Public Works Department - OEMs and Vendors: - ChargePoint (primary OEM for all listed EV charging stations) - Products/Services Requested: - Maintenance and support for the following ChargePoint EV charging stations: - 2 x ChargePoint CT4020-HD-GW (Laguna Niguel City Hall) - 1 x ChargePoint CPE250C-500-CCS1-CHD (Laguna Niguel City Hall) - 2 x ChargePoint CT4020-HD2-GW-LTE (Crown Valley Community Center) - 2 x ChargePoint CT4020-HD2-GW (Laguna Niguel-Mission Viejo Metrolink Station) - Quarterly preventive maintenance, as-needed repairs, network diagnostics, and emergency response services - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractors must hold a valid C-10 Electrical Contractors license - ChargePoint OEM approval is required - Minimum five years of relevant experience - Compliance with California prevailing wage laws and safety standards - Coordination with network providers and utilities - Services are assigned on an as-needed basis; no guaranteed minimum work - Locations: - Laguna Niguel City Hall - Crown Valley Community Center - Laguna Niguel-Mission Viejo Metrolink Station - City of Laguna Niguel Public Works Department (contracting office) - Contract Duration: - Three-year base term with two optional one-year extensions (up to five years total) - Possible 90-day extension at contract end - Pricing: - Labor rates and material markups; price adjustments capped by local CPI index

Description

The City of Laguna Niguel is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive maintenance and support services for municipal electric vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout the city. The scope includes inspection, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, electrical and equipment repairs, coordination with network providers and utilities, and provision of necessary materials and parts. The contract term is initially three years with possible extensions, and contractors must comply with all applicable laws and licensing requirements. Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis, with pricing held through July 2029, but no guarantee of work is implied.
