Description
The University of Texas at Austin, Texas Archeological Research Laboratory (TARL) has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). They have determined a cultural affiliation between these remains and associated funerary objects and certain Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The notice announces that repatriation of these items may occur on or after May 11, 2026, and provides contact information for requests for repatriation.
