Description

The University of Missouri, Museum of Anthropology has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects in accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA). The inventory identified a cultural affiliation between the remains and associated objects and the Osage Nation. Repatriation of these items may occur on or after May 11, 2026, and requests for repatriation must be submitted to the museum's authorized representative.
