Description
This notice announces the schedule for the preparation of an environmental assessment for the Line 31 Expansion Project by Texas Eastern Transmission, LP. The project involves constructing and operating approximately 10.2 miles of 36-inch-diameter pipeline, 1.6 miles of 16-inch-diameter pipeline, a new compressor station, and a new meter and regulator station in Madison County, Mississippi. The expansion will provide up to an additional 125,000 dekatherms per day of firm incremental natural gas transportation capacity. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) will issue the environmental assessment for public comment and aims to complete the federal authorization decision by September 13, 2026.
