NSWC Crane Procurement of R-134a Refrigerant, Recovery Cylinders, and Fill/Purge Services

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane), part of the U.S. Navy under NAVSEA, is seeking contractors for the supply and servicing of R-134a refrigerant cylinders and related fill and purge services to support depot operations. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (NSWC Crane) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the requirement is for commercial-grade R-134a refrigerant and associated services. - Products and Services Requested: - Supply of 16 cylinders of R-134a (100%) 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluoroethane, 125 lbs each - 16 cylinder deposits for R-134a cylinders - 4 empty 125lb R-134a recovery cylinders - Fill and purge service visits for R-134a refrigerant (multiple annual and option line items) - Labor and components to vacuum and recover 2,000 lbs. of R-134a refrigerant - Miscellaneous services, emergency response (within one business day), and replacement cylinders as needed - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Emergency response capability required within one business day - Services support the maintenance of AN/SLQ-32(V)7 BLK 3 sponsons during Depot PIT operations - All deliveries and services are to be performed at NSWC Crane, Indiana - The opportunity is 100% set aside for small businesses under NAICS 333415 - Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) - Firm fixed price contract with base and option years - Place of Performance and Delivery: - NSWC Crane, 300 Highway 361, Supply Operations Bldg 41 Receiving, Crane, IN 47522-5001

Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for

Fill and Purge visits for up to 6 times a year with 3 option years

Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://sam.gov.  

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR Part 13 as a written .  Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-26-Q-0072 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto.   

All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https://sam.gov/.  It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor https://sam.gov/ for any amendments, which may be issued to this solicitation.   

For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a quote will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
