This procurement seeks the removal, supply, and installation of two new Rite Power gas-fired water boilers at the Jefferson Parish General Government Building in Gretna, Louisiana. - Government Buyer: - Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department, General Government Building, Suite 4400 - OEMs and Vendors: - Rite Power (OEM for gas-fired water boilers, Model 450W) - Products Requested: - 2 Rite Power gas-fired water boilers, Model 450W - Inclined water tube design, ASME Section IV stamped for 125 PSIG, UL and ULC listed burner, 428 sq ft heating surface, 107 boiler horsepower - 2 stainless steel drain pans with 2-inch lip, welded corners, connected to existing drain line - 8 supply, return, and emergency shut-off valves (equal or better quality than existing) - Services Requested: - Removal and proper disposal of two existing gas-fired water boilers - Installation of new boilers, including all plumbing, ventilation, gas line work, electrical connections, building automated system controls, and commissioning - Commissioning by factory-trained representative with owner's representative present - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All materials must be new and meet/exceed ASME Section IV standards for 125 PSIG, registered with the National Board - Bidders must hold a Louisiana State Contractors License (Mechanical and/or Plumbing) - Bonding: 5% electronic bid bond, 50% performance bond, 50% payment bond - Insurance: Installation Floater policy covering all equipment installed - Warranty: Minimum 1 year for materials/workmanship; 25-year thermal shock warranty on boiler - Site inspection and measurements required to determine material/equipment quantities - Work to be performed during regular hours (7 AM to 4 PM, Mon-Fri), with after-hours lifts as needed - Liquidated damages of $300/day apply after 31 days from notice to proceed until substantial completion - Place of Performance: - General Government Building, 200 Derbigny Street, Gretna, LA 70053
