Description

This solicitation is for the replacement of the existing 350kW generator in the Ekstrom Library basement with a new CAT 400kW D400GC 277/480V diesel generator installed outside the building. The project includes demolition and removal of the existing generator, transfer switch, fuel tank, and related equipment. Installation of the new generator and electrical components will be phased to minimize emergency power downtime. Work is planned for summer 2026 and requires close coordination with the University of Louisville.
