Description
The County of Lake is soliciting sealed proposals for a project to evaluate the aquifer conditions and storage potential in Scotts Valley, an important agricultural area and municipal water source. The project includes installing three shallow monitoring wells, collecting groundwater data, and refining the existing Big Valley Integrated Hydrologic Model to assess current conditions and future pumping scenarios. The goal is to better understand groundwater resources, support surface water conservation in Clear Lake, and improve ecosystem health. The scope involves data review, model updates, water budget development, pumping impact evaluation, technical reporting, well installation, and monitoring well reporting.
