System-Wide Painting and Power Washing Services for YES Prep Public Schools Campuses

YES Prep Public Schools in Houston, Texas, is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive exterior and interior painting and power washing services across its network of elementary and secondary campuses. - Government Buyer: YES Prep Public Schools (Director of Procurement, Director of Facilities) - Scope of Work: - System-wide painting and power washing for over 25 campuses and the central office - Services include: - Interior and exterior painting of walls, doors, frames, handrails, fences, and stage areas - Power washing of sidewalks and building exteriors - Surface preparation, patching, masking, and protection of existing finishes - All materials, equipment, and supplies (including primer, paint, JANSAN supplies, PPE, etc.) must be provided by the contractor - Only Sherwin Williams paint is approved for all painting work - Detailed color and finish specifications are provided in the bid documents - Unique Requirements: - Strict project schedule: work must be completed within the designated summer window, with no exceptions for weather delays - After-hours and weekend work required to meet deadlines - Each campus will have a separate punch list and acceptance procedure - All workers must pass a name-based background check - Contractors are responsible for site cleanliness, protection of existing conditions, and coordination with YES Prep facilities staff - Up to three contractors may be awarded; work may be split by campus - No HUB subcontracting plan or bid bond required - Proposals must be submitted electronically or by mail/in-person with hard copies and thumb drives - OEM Highlight: Sherwin Williams is the exclusive approved paint manufacturer for this project - Estimated contract value: $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 (based on scope and number of campuses) - Place of Performance: All YES Prep campuses and central office in Houston, TX
