The USDA Forest Service is seeking a qualified small business to provide and install a complete scarifier system on an existing motor grader near Murphy, North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service, CSA EAST 3 office - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the scarifier itself is government-furnished - Products/Services Requested: - Turnkey installation of a scarifier system on a motor grader - Includes design (if required), fabrication, installation, and testing - Contractor must supply: - Partial scarifier frame assembly (compatible with the grader) - Structural mounting brackets and reinforcement members - Hydraulic cylinders, hoses, fittings, and fluid - Hydraulic pump (if required) - Control lever and operator controls - Pins, bushings, pivot assemblies - Mounting hardware (bolts, fasteners, lock components) - Protective guards and shields - Scarifier itself is provided by the government - System must be fully operational, hydraulically controlled, and meet safety standards - Installation includes operational demonstration - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Installation must occur within 60 miles of Murphy, NC - Contractor must begin work within 30 days of award and complete within 90 days - Set aside for small businesses under NAICS 333120 - Compliance with FAR and AGAR clauses, including anti-discrimination and DEI certifications - Firm-fixed price, single award anticipated

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12444126Q0024 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Installation of a scarifier system on an existing motor grader. Installation work must be completed within 60 miles of Murphy, NC. See the attached statement of work for requirements.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333120  The small business size standard is 1250  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
