The National Park Service (NPS), National Capital Region, is seeking a single-award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for dumpster and debris removal services at the National Mall and Memorial Parks in Washington, DC. - Government Buyer: - National Park Service (NPS), National Capital Region - Offices: National Mall and Memorial Parks; Regional Contracting Acquisition Management Division - Scope of Services: - Provision, delivery, pickup, disposal, and recycling of dumpsters for various waste types (trash, metal, concrete, wood, construction debris, tree debris, dirt, leaves, etc.) - Both scheduled (e.g., weekly) and on-call pickups - Services at multiple federal facilities: Brentwood Maintenance Yard, East Potomac Maintenance Yard, Hains Point Bone Yard, and other park locations - Monthly reporting of recycled materials and weight tickets - Compliance with all applicable regulations; drivers must hold valid Commercial Driver's Licenses (CDLs) - Contractor responsible for quality control; government oversight via Quality Assurance Evaluators (QAEs) and Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) - Products/Line Items Requested: - Multiple 30-yard covered dumpsters for different waste streams (solid waste, construction debris, metal, wood, concrete, drywall, leaves, dirt, etc.) - 20 to 40 cubic yard open top dumpsters with covers for special projects or emergencies - Overweight cost per ton charges may apply - Unique/Notable Requirements: - 100% small business set-aside (NAICS 562111) - Firm-fixed-price task orders under the IDIQ structure - Minimum order guarantee of $2,500; maximum order limit of $495,000 - Performance monitored through inspections, reports, and complaint records - Emphasis on safety, timely communication, and maintaining dumpsters in clean, working condition - OEMs/Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to qualified small businesses providing dumpster and debris services - Period of Performance: - Five-year ordering period with a base year, four option years, and a possible 6-month extension
