NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Secur-Serv, Inc. (Cage Code: 0MR45), under the authority of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 6.103-1, 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1). This is a sole-source purchase order based on only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Contracting Officer (CO) may solicit from one source if the CO determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). Due to the proprietary nature of the requirement, Secur-Serv, Inc. is the sole authorized service provider for the OPSCAN 8 scanners in the U.S. and Canada.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes nor a solicitation for offers. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilities for fulfilling this requirement. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement and is solely within the discretion of the Government.
