Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Detention Center (FDC) located at 700 Arch Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19106, intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, material, and incidentals, unless stated otherwise in this document, to replace the glazing for approximately 35 damaged exterior cell windows.

-Prior to removal of existing window glazing Awarded contractor must execute and/or subcontract a licensed assessment agency to perform a thorough inspection, certification and complete any necessary repairs of existing roof davits to ensure safety for any apparatus that must be utilized for removal and installation of window glazing. Drawing of roof davit location is attached to this statement of work. -Removal of existing damaged window glazing. The contractor shall remove all damaged window glazing and prep each window for new glazing. All damaged glazing and debris shall be the contractor’s responsibility to dispose of. The Contractor is also responsible to conduct all structural repairs that are deemed necessary to prepare for new install. -Installation of new glazing. The following specs must be adhered to as all windows to be replaced are considered high security. Contractor shall procure and install new glazing to approximately 35 damaged exterior cell windows, following the specifications and sizes listed below. Contractor will verify amount to be purchased with FDC Philadelphia prior to making any purchases.
