The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) is announcing its Industry Week event to foster engagement between government and industry. - Event is hosted by AFDW, a major command within the Department of the Air Force - Purpose is to share information about future government needs and requirements - Opportunity for businesses to learn about AFDW's mission and provide insight into industry capabilities - No products, services, or part numbers are being requested or procured - Event is open to all businesses; no registration restrictions noted - Will be held in-person at the Smart Center on Joint Base Andrews, Maryland - Notice is informational and not a solicitation for procurement

The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) will be hosting an Industry Week 12-13 May 2026.  We will use this SAM.gov site to share information, so check back frequently for the registration information and other helpful information.

BACKGROUND:

Industry Week provides the Air Force District of Washington and its mission partners an opportunity to communicate their missions, outline future government needs and requirements (1 to 3-year horizon), and obtain insight into the private sector’s unique capabilities. During this event, we will have Keynote Speakers, Mission Partner Briefs, and Industry Engagements/One-on-Ones, all with the goals to increase industry/government collaboration, provide information on our missions, and outline future requirements. The intent is to execute an in-person event. The Smart Center on Joint Base Andrews, Maryland (JBA) has been reserved for our event.

Industry Week is free of charge and open to all businesses, small and large.  Members of AFDW/PK and various Mission Partners throughout the National Capitol Region (NCR) to meet one-on-one with Industry. This event will be begin at 0800 each day and include keynote presentations from AFDW, Headquarters US Air Force Senior Leaders. If you have questions regarding the event, please contact afdw.pkafdw.industryweek@us.af.mil. Subsequent amendments to this notice will be issued with a registration link, updated agenda, details on in-person attendance and a listing of potential contracting opportunities.
