The Department of Defense, through the Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Benning, Georgia, is seeking contractors to provide comprehensive packing, containerization, and local drayage services for the personal property of DoD personnel. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense (DoD) - Department of the Army - Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Benning - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Services Requested: - Packing, containerization, and local drayage of personal property shipments for DoD personnel - Services include: - Premove surveys - Weighing, packing, inventorying, and tagging - Appliance servicing - Container marking, loading, storage, delivery, unloading, and unpacking - Claims processing - Handling of household goods and unaccompanied baggage for both domestic and international moves - Use of government-owned containers and documentation forms - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Contractor must furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, and materials except for government-furnished items - Services must meet performance standards for timely pickup/delivery, proper packing, accurate invoicing, and container protection - Set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBC) - Scope covers both shipment and storage services under the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) - Contractor availability required between 0800 and 1700 hours - Orders may be placed up to 180 days after contract expiration - Place of Performance and Delivery: - Fort Benning, Georgia (primary location) - DoD personnel residences, contractor facilities, and commercial, air, water, and military terminals

Description

The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, facilities, supplies, services, and materials,except as specified herein as government-furnished, for the preparation of the personal property(including servicing of appliances) of Department of Defense (DoD) personnel for shipment, drayageand/or storage and related services through the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) at Fort Benning,Georgia.
