The State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany is seeking qualified vendors to deliver a broad range of professional development and technical training workshops for New York State employees through the Public Service Workshops Program (PSWP). - Government Buyer: - State University of New York (SUNY), University at Albany - Research Foundation for SUNY, Professional Development Program (PDP) - In partnership with NYS Office of Employee Relations (OER) and Public Employees Federation (PEF) - Scope of Services: - Delivery of in-person and remote/virtual training workshops - Primary delivery in the Capital Region, with possible limited sessions in other NYS regions - Topics include: accounting, auditing, counseling, engineering, healthcare, information technology, law/criminal justice, project management, communication, and more - Workshops typically last one day (6 contact hours), but may be half-day or multi-day - Services include specialized workshops such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, grant writing, mental health, nursing, and legal/ethical topics - Instructor and Vendor Requirements: - Vendors must have at least one year of experience in adult and virtual training - Instructors must hold at least an associate degree and relevant subject matter experience - Ability to deliver during normal business hours and meet quality evaluation standards - Contract Structure: - Initial term from April 2026 through December 2027, with up to four one-year extension options - Fixed pricing for the initial term - Notable Requirements: - Vendors may propose to deliver one or more workshops - Must be able to deliver both in-person (Capital Region) and remote sessions - No specific OEMs or part numbers; this is a services procurement - No prior identical or substantially similar contracts awarded in the past five years
